The NATO Quality Assurance Team of Experts (QA ToE) will visit the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operations Training Centre (NMIOTC) in Souda Bay, Chania, Crete, Greece, on February 12–13, 2025. This on-site visit is a key step in the institutional accreditation process, confirming that the Centre’s training programs meet the established NATO Quality Standards.
During the visit, the QA ToE will review the NMIOTC’s Quality Management System (QMS) and its approach to Continuous Improvement Process (CIP). This evaluation supports NATO QA Programme`s objective of delivering consistent, high-quality training that enables Member and Partner nations to operate effectively together in an interoperable environment.
Accredited institutions like NMIOTC aligns with NATO’s strategy to maintain a robust and adaptable education and training framework. Such efforts play an important role in ensuring Alliance forces are prepared to address current and emerging security challenges.
