Institutional Accreditation

On 3–4 December, the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence (NSFA COE) in Rome, Italy, will host a major milestone in its development: its first NATO Institutional Accreditation (NIA) On-Site Visit (OSV), conducted under NATO’s Education and Training Quality Assurance System.

The NATO Quality Assurance Team of Experts (QA ToE) will visit the Joint Logistic Support Group Coordination and Training Centre (JCTC) in Garlstedt, Germany, on August 26–27, 2025.

This is a small initiative and contribution of the NATO QA Team of Experts to the QA Community of Interest. It is by no means the most comprehensive or authoritative video lecture on the subject, but it offers a solid starting point for unpacking the concepts behind this essential process.

The NATO Quality Assurance Team of Experts (QA ToE) is scheduled to visit the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR COE), located in Sofia, Bulgaria, on March 19 and 20, 2025.

The NATO Quality Assurance Team of Experts (QA ToE) will visit the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operations Training Centre (NMIOTC) in Souda Bay, Chania, Crete, Greece, on February 12–13, 2025.

In response to concerns raised by several Education and Training Facilities (ETFs) regarding the current format of the Accreditation Certificate, significant changes are being implemented to enhance the certificate's usability and presentation.

The NATO QA Team of Experts (ToE) will conduct an On-Site Visit to the Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Centre (MPSOTC) in Kilkis, Greece, between 10-11 April 2024.
