The Commander of NATO Mission Iraq (NMI), ​Major General Christophe Hintzy​, from France, met with the NATO Secretary General and Ambassadors of all NATO Allies and partners contributing troops to NMI, today (29 October 2025), at NATO Headquarters.

On Tuesday (28 October), NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte addressed NATO’s first Biotechnology Conference. The event, hosted by Belgium, brought together over 300 Allied participants from industry, academia, government and the innovation community. In his address, the Secretary General welcomed the conference as “a meaningful step” to enhance collaboration and harness the potential of biotechnology.
