Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden announced today (13 November 2025) that they will fund a joint $500 million package of military equipment and munitions for Ukraine sourced from the United States, under NATO’s Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) initiative.

On Wednesday (13 November), experts from NATO, Allied countries, industry and the innovation community met at NATO’s first Arctic Space Forum in Helsinki, Finland, to explore how space-based capabilities can strengthen deterrence, resilience and situational awareness in the High North.

On Thursday 13 November, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Mark Rutte, will visit Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum and the NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Force Headquarters in Geilenkirchen.

On Wednesday, 12 November, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms Radmila Shekerinska, will travel to Helsinki, Finland to participate in the NORDEFCO ministerial meeting and the NATO Arctic Space Forum, where she will deliver a keynote address.

Ulm, 5-7 November 2025 – NATO Military Committee (MC) visited NATO’s Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC) and high-tech service provider IABG (Industrieanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH), in Germany. The visit, which brought to Ulm NATO military representatives and members of the International Military Staff (IMS), was an important occasion to discuss several topics of paramount importance from an Alliance military point of view.

On 5 and 6 November 2025, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited Romania. He met the President of Romania, Nicuşor Dan, on Wednesday (5 November). In a joint press conference following their meeting, the Secretary General thanked Romania for its contributions to Alliance defence and security, including leadership in the context of Black Sea security.

On Tuesday 4 November 2025, the European Union’s Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, addressed a meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC).

On 5 and 6 November 2025, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Mark Rutte, will visit Bucharest, Romania. He will meet the President, Mr Nicuşor Dan, the Prime Minister, Mr Ilie Bolojan, the President of the Senate, Mr Mircea Abrudean, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr Sorin Grindeanu, and other officials.

NATO’s Special Representative for the Southern Neighbourhood, Mr. Javier Colomina, visited Oman on 2 and 3 November 2025. This was his first visit to the country.

On Tuesday (4 November), NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska addressed the first NATO Civilian Planning Conference in Stockholm, Sweden.
