QA Forum 24 Audience PSOTC

Over the past two days, QA Forum 24 provided an engaging platform for experts and stakeholders in the field of quality assurance to come together and address critical topics shaping the future of education and training. The forum offered valuable insights, interactive sessions, and opportunities for collaboration. 

Day 1 Highlights: The event opened with welcome remarks from the PSOTC Commandant, LTC Alibašić, and Rear Admiral Torresi DCOS MDFD/HQ SACT, setting a positive tone for the discussions. Participants were then introduced to new contributors from NSFA COE (Italy) and NDA (Georgia), adding fresh perspectives to the audience. 

One of the key sessions focused on the review of the Program of Work (POW) 2024, where topics such as the reorganization of the MDFD/ETPP, the revision of Bi-SC Dir 075-007, and updates on the Annual QA Report were discussed. Participants also reviewed contributions from experts and discussed the organization of QA Forum 2025 and 2026. 

Best practices were shared from institutions like NCGM (Sweden) and ITA JAOS (Italy), offering real-world examples of quality action plans, student tracking tools, and implementation strategies that are making a difference in their respective organizations. 

The day concluded with syndicate work, where participants explored how AI tools can enhance quality assurance processes, leading to fruitful discussions and practical takeaways for future implementation. 

Day 2 Highlights: The second day opened with discussions on new capabilities within the QA Hub and a preview of the new QA eLearning introductory course. A deep dive into NATO Course Certification (NCC) followed, providing attendees with valuable updates on certification processes. 

The day also covered forward-looking topics like Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) & Digital Transformation (DT), emphasizing the importance of adapting QA practices in line with these evolving trends. An update on the eITEP program rounded out the forum's formal sessions. 

The forum concluded with a wrap-up session, during which the QA Team of Experts outlined the next steps and future challenges, setting the stage for continued collaboration and innovation. 

Conclusion: NATO QA Forum 24 reinforced the critical role of collaboration, innovation, and adaptability in maintaining high standards of quality in education and individual training. The discussions highlighted the importance of embracing new technologies, supporting partnerships, and remaining responsive to the changing educational landscape.
