Acting as a NATO Partnership and regional training centre, PSOTC provides individual education and training for military personnel, police officers and civilians from Bosnia and Herzegovina and partner nations in the domain of peace support operations and related collective security tasks. By delivering high-quality, PSO-focused education and training, PSOTC contributes to the development of BiH MoD and AF BiH capabilities for participation in NATO-, UN- and EU-led operations, thereby strengthening Bosnia and Herzegovina’s contribution to international peace and security.
Joining the family of world-leading and most preferred training centres, PSOTC aims to be an indispensable NATO partner in the domain of individual training for peace support operations, fully capable of meeting the evolving training requirements of NATO, UN and EU missions.
The core tasks of PSOTC are:
Prepare and deliver high-quality, student-centred and stakeholder-driven education and individual training;
Develop and maintain a quality assurance management system with clearly defined responsibilities that enables, monitors and regularly reviews the PSOTC Quality Assurance Plan (QAP);
Continuously improve the learning and working environment to foster creativity, learning and interaction among students and staff;
Ensure continuous improvement of organizational performance based on measurement and analysis of processes and outputs, with emphasis on personnel development, the education and training process, students’ welfare and the provision of quality resources;
Develop and sustain an internal information and knowledge management system that enables effective internal information exchange, and establish and maintain an external communication and public affairs policy, system and procedures that ensure regular, objective and accurate updates to external stakeholders and the wider community of interest on PSOTC education and training activities.
