A Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) enabled Alliance is ACT’s foremost strategic priority.
As an important signal of the value that HQ SACT places on this requirement, SACT is changing the name of a Directorate to reflect the massive and accelerated change at the command.
Joint Force Development Directorate is now named Multi-Domain Force Development Directorate.
This shift in posture, reflected through the name change, acknowledges the need to accelerate transformation, and signals to external entities the focus HQ SACT places on Multi-Domain Operations.
The name change reflects the directorates work preparing a future MDO-enabled Alliance through doctrine, education and training, experimentation and wargaming and work with external entities.
The name change takes effect 1 Jun 24. The documents will be incrementally updated to reflect the change through to 30 Sep 24.
