The Italian Joint Air Operations School (ITA JAOS) is a joint education centre of Italian Armed Forces and the only Education Institution of the Italian Ministry of Defence accredited by NATO. It provides worth teaching, in continuous evolution and in line with technological innovations, in order to maintain constant adherence to the education needs of the national Armed Forces,  NATO and friendly Countries.

In the field of Air-to-Surface Integration (AToSI), the ITA JAOS has recently expanded its education offer. Together with Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) courses, it provides training for Joint Personnel Recovery, Joint Fires and Targeting staff personnel.

In the field of Remote Sensing, the ItaJAOS provides education opportunities for interpretation and analysis of remotely sensed images, coming from airborne and satellite electro-optical and RADAR sensors.

The ITA JAOS courses are available to military personnel of the Italian Armed Forces and to personnel of other National Administrations and to military personnel of NATO/PfP, under the authorization of the Italian Joint Defense Staff.

ITA JAOS Mission is to provide a training of excellence, in order to specialize national and international personnel in both AToSI and Remote Sensing branches, thanks to highly motivated and professional staff and cutting-edge technologies.

ITA JAOS Vision is to ensure quality education in a continuous and up-to-date process of improvement and adaptation to the operational needs of the Italian Armed Forces, NATO/PfP and International Partners, fully inserted in the international context.
