HQ SACT QA has released an updated version of the CCD PERIODIC REVIEW & RE-CERTIFICATION ADVISORY PACK in response to a limitation identified within the current ETOC environment affecting NATO Course re-certification.
What is the issue?
For courses already in “NATO Selected” or “NATO Approved” status, ETOC does not fully support the re-certification workflow. Although ETF re-certification requests are logged within ETOC, the associated workflow and automated messaging functions are not initiated.
Why does this matter?
Bi-SC Directive 075-007 requires the periodic review and re-certification of NATO-certified courses. The updated advisory pack provides the controlled manual process to be used to maintain compliance and audit traceability.
What has changed?
The updated advisory pack includes:
- Revised para 6b: “Re-certification Workflow in ETOC”.
- Annex B Table 1: “Re-certification Workflow”.
- Annex C: “High-Level NATO Course Recertification Process Flow Diagram”.
Together, these additions provide the detailed procedural steps and a high-level overview of the revised process.
Who should read it?
- Department Heads (DHs).
- Discipline POCs.
- Requirements Authority Representatives (RA Reps).
- Personnel involved in CCD Periodic Review and NATO Course re-certification activities.
Where can it be found?
The updated advisory pack is available on the QA Hub document repository in the Archive or download it now.
Personnel involved in NATO Course re-certification activities should review the updated guidance and implement the revised process with immediate effect.
